We are looking for Photonics Scientists/Engineers (Junior and Senior) to join our team.

Proficient in:
(Junior)
Master in Photonics/Physics/Electronics/Engineering with experimental focus.
Knowledge in the following areas:
- Photonic architectures and technologies for sensors and high precision instrumentation.
- Modeling and simulation of photonic devices (diode laser, photodiodes, electro-optic modulators, interferometry, dispersion effects, nonlinear optical phenomena).
- Photonic integrated circuit design and characterization (valuable).

(Senior)
Experience in Photonics (PhD or > 3 years relevant experience in photonics), specially in the following areas:
- Research, development and characterization of photonic architectures and technologies for sensors and high precision instrumentation.
- Hands-on experience in test and characterization activities in lab environments involving active and/or passive photonic integrated circuits as we.

Tareas a realizar

- Experimental research and development in photonic sensing, instrumentation, and communications.
- Critical analysis of solutions by using quantitative metrics.
- Planning and execution of tasks in a collaborative environment (agile methodologies) with proactivity and in alignment with project objectives.

(Junior)
- Work in a multidisciplinary team, in different research areas and applications.
- Capacity to follow project objectives/priorities and align research and development activity with them.

(Senior)
- Manage and work in projects with small/medium multidisciplinary team, in different research areas and applications with agile methodologies.
- Capacity to define and follow project objectives/priorities and lead the team towards their consecution.
- Experience project proposals preparation, including excellence, impact, planning, task estimation, peer review and writing.
