ARQUIMEA Research Center (ARC) is hiring a Research Engineer with knowledge in the field of implementing cryptography. The successful candidate will have knowledge of digital design and embedded systems applied to cryptography implementations.
Required skills, experience and candidate profile:
- PhD or MSc. degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Physics with at least 5 years of experience working in cryptography implementations.
- Experience in implementation of cryptographic digital hardware IPs with HDL (preferrable VHDL).
- Open minded and ready to be challenged with multi-disciplinary R&D projects. We are looking for someone who thrives working in multidisciplinary and ever-changing environments.
- The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU.

Tareas a realizar
- Secure hardware design.
- Designing and developing architectural descriptions and digital implementations of cryptographic algorithms.
- Proposing countermeasures to include in the design of cryptography implementations.
- Working in a multidisciplinary team, researching and developing cryptography implementations mainly focused on post-quantum cryptography.
- Participate in tasks related to new projects proposals, including planning, task estimation, design, design verification, peer review and writing, as part of a team.
- Plan and execute tasks in collaboration with the team to ensure project objectives are met.
- Designing and developing architectural descriptions and digital implementations of cryptographic algorithms.
