Wunder Hexicon is seeking talented Naval Architects and/or Mechanical engineers to expand our team and participate in the development of a floating offshore wind technology.
It is an exciting role with direct impact on the way this promising technology will be developed and with a real possibility of making an impact in this booming industry.
Desired Degree:
- Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering, Structural Engineering
Desired Skills:
- Mooring design.
- Offshore engineering.
- Structural Design.
- Marine Structures.
- Offshore Operations.
- Scale tank testing.
- Offshore marine systems analysis.
Languages: Spanish and English (high level written and spoken are a plus).

Tareas a realizar
The project is to develop the existing concept design using computational tools and study integration with other technologies such as electrolysers. The aim at this stage is to take the project from early engineering phase up to tank testing.
-You have proven experience working with offshore marine systems analysis software such as OrcaFlex, Deeplines Wind, ANSYS AQWA or other related FEA tool
-Scale tank testing experience in other projects is a plus
-You are organized and can prioritize your work according to the deadlines and tackle new projects in a structured manner
-You can work by yourself with low supervision
-You have strong soft skills and you can communicate your ideas clearly and according to the audience
-You are passionate about renewable energies and thrive for a fossil-free world
Location
Las Palmas, Gran Canaria / Remote work is accepted
